Intake & Application Deadlines
US universities have two intakes throughout the year- Fall, Spring. However, Fall is considered to be major ones there are a few colleges and universities for spring.
Fall semester starts in September and ends in December
Spring semester starts in January and ends in May
Application deadlines for Fall are in dec(previous year) / Jan same year
Work while studying: After the first year in college students are eligible to work on campus for 20 hours a week. During breaks and vacations, there is no restriction on the work hours.
International Students Willing To Apply To USA Universities For An MS Course Require:
16 years of education (15yrs also accepted by some universities). English Language Proficiency test scores of TOEFL/IELTS Average GPA of 3.0 or 80% and above. Standardized test scores of GRE/GMAT/LSAT/MCAT depending upon the choice of course. The average tuition fee charged from international students for graduate study is around 35,000 USD per year.
A student visa is applied in F1 visa category after receiving I 20 from university.
