If you intend to stay in Australia after finishing your studies, you may apply for a temporary graduate visa. When applying for this visa, you must choose between a graduate work stream and a post-study work stream, which differ in the amount of time you are allowed to stay in Australia after finishing your education.

Process of Visa Application in Australia

Before beginning the application process, students must be admitted for full-time study and be able to provide proof of their status by electronic confirmation or an enrolment letter from their university. To offer you a seat, your institution must be listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

You will receive a 'Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment' (eCoE) by e-mail once you have been offered a seat at an Australian university and paid your deposit. This will contain your total course fee, duration, and start date.  You will need the information from this form to submit your visa application.
